Sizing Guide

Vintage clothing sizing is vastly different than modern day sizing. Please refer to the measurements given in each description to see if the sizing will work for you. We recommend grabbing an item that currently fits you and measure using the method(s) outlined below.. This will allow you to see if the garment you wish to purchase fits closely matches your size.

Measurements are taken while laying flat and you can refer to the guidelines below to see how we measure.

Shirts, Blouse, Sweaters, Blazers

Bust Measure from underarm to underarm, then double it.
Length Measure from shoulder seam to the bottom of the item.
Sleeve Length Measure from shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

 

Pants, Jeans

Waist Measure across the waistband, then double it.
Rise Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Inseam Measure from crotch seam to the end of the pant leg.
Hips Measure across the widest part of the pants where the hips would be, then double it.

 

Dresses

Bust Measure from underarm to underarm, then double it.
Length Measure from shoulder seam to the bottom of the dress.
Waist Measure across the waistband, then double it.
Hips Measure across the widest part of the skirt where the hips would be, then double it.
Sleeve Length Measure from shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

 

Shorts

Waist Measure across the waistband, then double it.
Rise Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Hips Measure across the widest part of the shorts where the hips would be, then double it.
Length Measure from the waist to the bottom of the shorts
